No-Bake Fudgy Quinoa-Chia Bites

  • 1 cup cooked white quinoa (see my post on How to Make Perfectly Cooked Quinoa)
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cacao powder (or unsweetened cocoa powder)
  • ¼ cup maple syrup (or agave)
  • ¼ cup sunflower seed butter (or any nut or seed butter)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • pinch of fine grain sea salt (about ⅛ teaspoon)
  1. Line a small baking sheet or any flat surface with wax or parchment paper.
  2. Add all ingredients to a medium sized mixing bowl. Stir well to combine.
